This site provides information on procedures applicable to all Nigerian residents and Other Nationals residing mainly in northern part of Nigeria, who wish to apply for a visa to travel to France.

If you wish to apply for a Short stay visa to France, kindly read the VISA INFORMATION- ALL ABOUT VISAS on this site carefully. This will reduce the chances of your application being rejected due to inadequate or faulty submission of documents.

Applicants are requested to read the following steps carefully before submitting their application at the France visa appointment center, Abuja.

Step 1 : Applicant or representative of the applicant is required to visit VFS Abuja appointment centre with original passport to get an appointment for submission of their biometrics at The France Embassy.
Step 2 : Applicant or representative of the applicant will pay the VFS fee N4800 and Courier Fee N4500 (Optional Service) first at the bank implant branch present at the VFS application centre. Bank will make entries of few basic necessary datas and will generate three receipts in triplicate. Bank will handover applicant’s copy and VFS copy to applicant.
Step 3 : Applicant or representative of the applicant will come to VFS counter to get an appointment. VFS will provide an appointment to the applicant or representative. The applicant must visit the Embassy of France to submit their application on the date of appointment with all documents as specified on the check list (his/her biometrics data will be captured when applying). Please note that any applicant below the age of 12yrs does not need to be present at the Embassy of France on the date of the scheduled appointment.
Step 4 : Applicant or Representative can come and collect passport from VFS Abuja center after visa application is being processed at Embassy from 12.00 pm to 04.00pm.Representative, visiting VFS center to collect must carry prescribed authority letter on behalf of the applicant. Applicant who choose to opt for Courier service, their passport will be delivered at their doorstep.
