Important Notice on Public Holiday
Kindly be informed that the Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Monday
6 February 2012 as a Public Holiday to mark this year’s Eid El
Maulud.
VFS Centre in Lagos will therefore be closed for submission of application and
collection of passports for this purpose.
Applicants applying on 3 February, 2012 at VFS Centre will be scheduled to
visit France Consulate for biometrics on 7 February, 2012, Tuesday.
It will be business as usual at the visa application centre from 7 February
2012.

Visas for The Kingdom of the Netherlands and for Lithuania can be applied
through the France VFS Application Center in Lagos, on behalf of the Consulate
General of France in Lagos. Supporting documents, visa fees as well as VFS fees
remain the same as for applicants for France.
Applicants are advised to submit their visa applications well in time (max. 3
months before intended day of travel to their nearest representation: VFS in
Lagos or the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Abuja.

Please be informed that due to the Schengen Consultation process, the visa
processing
The visa processing timing is a minimum of ten (10) calendar days which begins
after an applicant had taken biometrics at the French Consulate.

As per French Mission directive, we need to accept a maximum number of 110
applications per day.
Hence, submission entry for the applicants might be closed before 1.00
pm in case such quota has been reached.
Requesting for your kind co-operation and understanding.
Kindly be informed that from 2 August 2010 till further notice, new visa fee
need to be paid at the time of application. Please refer to our respective visa
fee page.

Submission Entry: 8:00am - 01:00pm
Collection: 11am - 4:00pm
Dear Applicants
Kindly be informed that from 1 of May 2011 onwards, submission entry
to VFS France Visa Application Centre is from 8a.m. till 1.00p.m. during
any weekdays except holidays.
Dear applicants,
Kindly be informed that for both submitting and collecting the visa
applications and passports respectively, representative needs to produce an
authority letter along with his or her photo identity.
Especially for collecting a passport on behalf, a prescribed authority letter
(As Given) to be produced at VFS France Visa Application Centre. A print of
this letter could be downloaded and fill in.
Please be informed,VFS can refuse to handover the passport to a representative
if the authority
letter is not produced as per the prescribed format.
